The Atari ST was a home computer released by Atari Corporation in 1985. The "ST" officially stands for "Sixteen/Thirty Two", which referrs to the Motorola 68000's 16-bit external bus and 32-bit internals. Introduced for $800/$1000 (monochrome or color monitor), it sold into the early 1990s. Memory size ranged from 512k to 4mb. Heralded as Atari's flagship graphics machine, it competed against the Commodore Amiga and Acorn Archimedes, grabbing a significant foothold in the European market, which lagging behind in the US. Operating systems for the ST included GEM (the graphics-based interface), TOS (The Operating System), and CPM.
The ST primarily stored its data on floppy or hard drives. Models of ST include the 1040ST (STF), 520STFM,and 520ST.

Can't open archive
When I try to unzip the archive, it says that it is password protected, but I can't find any documentation here or in the text file specifying the password. Is there a way to get the password to open the archive?

Well worth the download
Really nice collection (as most TOSEC collections are). Recommend using .7z to unpack. Have to say thank you to Archive.org for this and the other Atari ST magazines, long play videos and other software archives they have and the collection seems to be growing.

Depacking and DL of large files like this, + other
I was happy to finally get this, so DL-ed it.
Tried to depack with Total Commander and WinRAR, but got error messages and could depack only some 30% of archive. First thought that some error happened while DL, so DL-ed it again. It was same with it.
Then got WinZip, and with it could depack everything.
So, to unpack very large ZIP files (over 4GB, it seems) don't use WinRAR or Total Commander. Use later WinZip. Some say that 7Z is OK too.
I hope that this will help people DL-ing this and other large archives, and will reduce host bandwith :-)
Other thing related is that hosting so large single file is not good idea. Usual way is to split in smaller parts (max 1GB is usual) - then you can DL just problematic part in case of some DL error instead whole 14GB again.
Some may like single click DL, but there are cases that no 14 GB space on C partition, for instance.
About content: 14 GB is result of having many things in multiple variants, which differ only slightly. Yes, storage space is cheap, but I really don't like a, b, c, a1 ... versions of same source, where no real useful difference. Experienced user can solve small problems - boot sector related and similar.
There is image of game 'Bimbo Story' (pretty unknown one) with ST extension, but it works not. Experienced user as me fixed quickly problem after looking it with hex view - it was obvious that it is STT format, so just renamed and it works. But most will just say that it is corrupted file.
My rating is only 3 stars - sorry, I know that there is huge work behind this, but I feel that some things could be solved better.
