Stuck the Landing
You can't even call DSO a cover band, they are so much more. They are true recreationists, who sometimes sound more Grateful Dead than the Grateful Dead. This show was amazing, probably one of the best shows I've ever seen in my life. They absolutely killed it. They took an already amazing setlist and performance and did it true justice.

The absolute best part of my 2018 Colorado vacation was time with my bro (John) and his fiancé Tara. All of us attended the DSO Red Rocks show and it was a killer show. Their version of “The Other One” was an amazing highlight, definitely the jam of the night in my opinion. I am so lucky to have had this experience at a magical amphitheatre like Red Rocks. The landscape was stunning. Oh yeah, the extra songs at the end were also great: Box of Rain, China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider.

wtf?! Can I actually like Dark Star more than the actual GD???
I know I'm gonna be labeled a full on blasphemer...and maybe the comparison isn't truly fair in that The Dead are solely responsible for creating all the incredible music to begin with- while DSO has the luxury of simply mastering the artful work of their biggest idols'- but after last night's recreation of the infamous 2nd show the GD ever [email protected] red rocks (7/8/78) - on the 40th anniversary no less- I couldn't help but feel sooo fortunate to have been in attendance. I must've turned to my brother at least 5 times thru the show to say "dude...seriously the best music I've ever heard in my life!! Haha. And yes as f*coked up as this sounds- that includes the actually original show from the summer of '78!!! Now l if u wanna rip me a new one- u have every right- just 1st listen to this show from start>finish and then tell me you disagree ;)
